The park’s ecosystem consists mainly of wooded and bushy grasslands surrounding the lake. What was once a bird sanctuary is now the prime location in Kenya for spotting the highly protected black and white rhino.
In the late afternoon, as the temperature begins to cool, set out for your evening game drive and savor the sunset in the national park. As the sky darkens, make your way to the next lodge for check-in. Relax and gather around the dinner table, sharing your favorite safari sightings from the day.
Begin your day with breakfast at the lodge before you bid farewell to Lake Naivasha. Enjoy casual wildlife sightings as you journey to the renowned Masai Mara National Reserve, where vast open plains stretch as far as the eye can see. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and savor lunch in the shade of the comfortable tented camps.
As the day cools, get ready for your afternoon game drive. Venture out onto the Mara plains, where you’ll encounter abundant wildlife and stunning scenery. As the light wanes, return to camp, refresh with a comfortable shower, and then indulge in a delightful dinner.
Today, you’ll dedicate the entire day to exploring the Masai Mara reserve. In addition, the reserve is also home to other wildlife, including hippos, Nile Crocodiles, Hyenas, Cheetahs, Bat-Ear Foxes and more. As the temperature climbs, return to the camp to freshen up and savor lunch during your mid-day break.

After breakfast at camp, it’s time to say farewell to Mara and set your course for Lake Naivasha, where your day’s game drive awaits. As the day approaches noon, proceed to your next camp for check-in and a well-deserved lunch break.
In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari experience on the lake. In contrast to the open grassy plains, this lake, set against scenic mountains in the backdrop, is a haven for diverse birdlife and groups of hippos. Glide in silence with the boat’s engines turned off and observe undisturbed wildlife behaviour in their natural habitat under your guide’s expert insight.
On day 6, following breakfast at Lake Naivasha, set your course southward towards Amboseli National Park, Kenya’s second most renowned park after Masai Mara. The Amboseli region is celebrated for its stunning views of Kilimanjaro and the large herds of elephants that roam its lands. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and savor your lunch.
After a well-deserved rest, embark on an afternoon game drive, immersing yourself in the wilderness adorned with diverse wildlife, all against the majestic backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. The mountain provides an awe-inspiring canvas for animal photography, with silhouettes of towering giraffes against the setting sun casting captivating scenes. As the skies darken, return to camp to freshen up before dinner.

This extensive exploration offers abundant opportunities to continue checking off your list of wildlife encounters in Kenya.
For those eager to gain a deeper understanding of the local Maasai culture, consider a trip to a nearby Maasai village in addition to your game drives. This experience offers profound insights into the daily lives of the Maasai people, allowing you to connect more intimately with their culture.
Begin your day with breakfast at the lodge, and then continue your safari expedition through Tanzania’s renowned national parks. Upon crossing the border from Kenya to Tanzania, make a lunch stop.
After lunch, continue your journey to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. This park offers a diverse wilderness experience, encompassing habitats ranging from its Rift Valley soda lake to dense woodlands and steep mountainsides. Known as the most renowned wildlife sanctuary globally, it stands unparalleled in both natural beauty and the highest concentration of plains game found anywhere. This park boasts the largest aggregation of animals in Tanzania and serves as the southern extension of Kenya’s famed Masai Mara Game Reserve. It’s the very region where the annual wildebeest migration, accompanied by predators, occurs (typically between June and September).
Upon reaching the lodge, check in and enjoy a satisfying lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive during the cooler hours. Return to the camp for dinner, where you can unwind to the soothing sounds of nature as nocturnal wildlife emerges.
Embark on a full day of exploration in the vast Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. This unique ecosystem supports over 1,500 animal species and numerous migratory birds, offering you the chance to encounter a wide array of wildlife beyond the Big 5.

After breakfast at your camp, embark on a drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Upon arrival, descend to the crater floor for a full day of captivating game drives.
The Ngorongoro Crater, often referred to as ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ provides a world-class wildlife viewing experience. Located within the Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA), this extraordinary crater took shape around 2.5 million years ago when a dormant volcanic mountain subsided. The vistas, whether observed from within the crater or from its rim, are undeniably breathtaking. Home to approximately 30,000 animals and a diverse array of bird species, the crater’s unique ecosystem keeps them in the area year-round, thanks to a consistent water supply available during both wet and dry seasons.
